In the very heart of the Côte d'Azur, Antibes-Juan-les-Pins, a maritime city with Greek and Roman origins, characterised by it ramparts designed by Vauban, its ports including Port Vauban, the top Mediterranean yachting harbour, chic majestic Cap d'Antibes and its sandy beaches and the effervescence of Juan-les-Pins. The incomparable charm of Antibes has delighted many visitors, from Picasso to Nicolas de Staël, from Sidney Bechet to Miles Davis, between fisherman's districts, yachtsmen's wharves, Provençal market, pine groves hosting jazz concerts. Inland, near the villages of Biot, Valbonne, Villeneuve-Loubet, Nature reigns supreme: vast natural parks, superb golf courses, streams. • The very charming village of Biot, with its medieval architecture, over time became the centre of glass and pottery crafts.

• The Musée National Fernand Léger, where you can appreciate from a distance the gigantic nature of the coloured mosaics created by the artist. 

Vallauris, city of potters and with a strong heritage in art ceramics (Château Musée and Biennales de la Céramique). The spirit and mischief of Picasso still imbue the whole town (Chapelle Picasso, now a National Museum). 

Villeneuve-Loubet, town of contrasts, with a coastline notable for the audacious architecture of Marina Baie des Anges, and its bucolic village at the edge of the Loup. A paradise for families, especially children. 

• Valbonne Sophia-Antipolis: one the one hand the authenticity of a typical Provençal village and, at the heart of the Côte d'Azur, the first European Technological Cluster, a symbol of innovation, research and development.
