You'll witness up close the special role that each husky play amid the pack. With you in tow alongside the Musher aboard a dog sled, you'll delight in discovering new landscapes on the Nordic site of Castérino.
The stay includes :
- Day 1: Guest house accommodation at the Bego Gîte.
Contact with the dog sled pack
Set menu dinner.
- Day 2: After breakfast, transfer to Castérino.
Initiation: Alongside the musher, you'll participate in dog and equipment placement. Educational overview of the basics: Dog sled, safety measures, respect for the environment, respect and knowledge of the dogs. You will learn to steer a three- to four-dog sled on a relatively easy trail.
We will be able to implement a starter dog sled (eventually 2 dog sleds max) that you'll undertake all by yourself. An additional person can come on board my dog sled... and we can swap roles during the trip!
