The riches and attractions of the Alpes d'Azur are many: they gather together in a sweeping embrace the seduction of meadowlands and forests, the majesty of high peaks, the charm of perched villages, the fascination of grandiose geological sites, not to mention a wealth of history and prehistory, whilst a mirror of blue unfurls at their feet. Such are the charms of the Alpes d’Azur.

		The Mercantour National Park One of France's 10 national parks. Almost 600 km of clearly marked trails enable you to discover rich and varied fauna (chamois, marmots, etc, not to mention wolves!) and a wide diversity of flora (almost half of the 4200 specied identified in France). There are 13 nature parks in the department of the Alpes-Maritimes. All are outstanding in terms of their location and beauty and the diversity of their fauna and flora.

Located on the coastline or near to it, these protected natural spaces also offer leisure and relaxation facilities.
