Around Christmas cribs ("crèches") and their figurines ("santons") Foire aux santons - Peillon (14 November – 6 December 2009) Exhibition and sale with some ten “santonniers” (makers of Christmas crib figurines). Foire aux santons - Mouans-Sartoux (20 November – 24 December 2009)  The "Foire aux Santons" in Mouans-Sartoux, the oldest and largest such event in the Alpes-Maritimes département, features nearly 22 "santonniers". Christmas cribs in Lucéram - Lucéram (5 December 2009 – 3 January 2010)  In the past ten years, over 400 Christmas cribs are displayed in the streets and cellars of the mediaeval village as well as in the churches, chapels, museums and other picturesque places in the vicinity. A marked tour helps visitors discover unusual, original or authentic Christmas cribs. Programme of activities during the season: • Little Christmas market - Sunday 13 & 20 December, all day • Christmas Concert - Sunday 13 December, afternoon • Arrival of the Magi - Sunday 3 January 2010, afternoon    8th Christmas Crib Trail and Exhibition and sale of "Santons" - Théoule-sur-Mer (5 December 2009 – 3 January 2010) A hundred Christmas cribs on display in the commune along with a special exhibition and some twenty "santonniers" at the Espace Culturel.  La Vallée des Santons – Breil-sur-Roya (12 December 2009 – 9 January 2010) Giant outdoor Christmas crib: discover over 300 Christmas cribs of all origins on display in the various districts of the villages of Breil-sur-Roya, Fontan, Saorge, La Brigue and Tende in a setting of fir trees and holly.

Christmas Village - Cannes (1 December 2009 – 6 January 2010) Provençal Christmas market with 60 chalets on Esplanade Pantiero with street entertainment. Christmas Village - Monaco (4 December 2009 - 3 January 2010) Activities for Christmas and the New Year on Quai Albert-Ier. Christmas in Vence (5 December 2009 – 3 January 2010) Vence dons its spangles... Activities, street entertainment, Christmas markets, games, arrival of Santa Claus. Russian Christmas Village - Nice (5 December 2009 - 6 January 2010) A Russian Christmas in Nice, a festive awe-inspiring event. Activities, craftsmen’s chalets, gift ideas, Christmas forest, delicacies, entertainment, everything contributes to providing you with festive moments with the family or friends The big skating rink is open for beginners and experienced skaters for sessions lasting an hour and a half. Christmas Village - Gattières(12 – 13 December 2009) Come visit the Christmas Village with its wood chalets, sale of local products and arts and crafts (Christmas gifts and decorations…). At the foot of the Village, 9:30am to 6pm. Christmas in Menton (12 December 2009 – 10 January 2010) The entire city thrills to the colours of the season with countless decorations and activities in the streets through giant motifs made with flowers, a Christmas market, a Christmas crib trail… This year’s theme: "Menton, with its head in the stars".

Christmas in the mountains Christmas Market - Auron (19 December 2009 – 3 January 2010)    Christmas Eve - Auron (24 December 2009)  Arrival of Father Christmas by carriage in the central square escorted by monitors from the Ecole du Ski Français. Free wine & hot chocolate. Christmas at Isola - Isola 2000 (24 December 2009)   Open air Christmas mass and carols. Torchlight descent by the Ecole de Ski Français instructors followed by the arrival of Santa Claus at the Ski resort infrastructure to hand out presents to the children. Free wine and hot chocolate. 18th Annual Christmas Carol & Music Festival - Valdeblore La Colmiane (12 December 2009 - 2 January 2010) Free concerts at the Eglise Sainte-Croix in St Dalmas Valdeblore from 6pm throughout December.
