Through this exhibition titled “Eternal India”, she bears witness to this civilisation of gesture and colour, where the sacred is omnipresent and tradition very much alive today.
She proposes above all an encounter with the men and women from the myriad of peoples that shaped its history. Indeed, from everyday gestures to great religious festivals, from the colourful Kathâkali theatre to splendid architecture, all the works of Man are the harmonics of the great natural décor of India.
Through this photographer’s lens, the light of India reveals the subtle rhythm of this three thousand year old civilisation.
