Museums - CAGNES SUR MER

MUSEE RENOIR The Domaine des Collettes, and its park enhanced by the olive-trees so beloved by the artist, was the last home of Auguste Renoir. Preserved as is with its original furniture and decoration, the house also features : the painters' 2 studios, 11 original paintings from the nacre and Cagnes periods, virtually all his sculpture, some preparatory sketches, lithographs, many old photographs, personal possessions, etc.
(Closed in 2012 for rehabilitation - Reopening in 2013).
Permanent collection transferred to the Château-Musée in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Period when open : may - october Days and times open : - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (10h00-12h00/14h00-18h00)
