To celebrate its 50th anniversary the museum has thought big. The programme includes not one, not two, but three exhibitions as well as conferences, screenings, teaching workshops...
- Exhibitions:
"Hommage aux donateurs" (Homage to benefactors), from February 5 to May 17, a selection of the best works of Nadia Léger and Georges Bauquier.
"Michel Verjux, le mur, l'espace, l'oeil" (Michel Verjux, wall, space, eye) is a retrospective, from February 6 to May 17, of the work of an artist who sculpted light better than anyone.
From June 19 to October 11 "Disques et sémaphores, le langage du signal chez Léger et ses contemporains" (Disks & semaphores, the language of the sign in Léger & his contemporaries), compares the pictorial signs used by the painter around 1920 with those of signalling and modern signals.
- Cycle d'initiation à l'art du XXe siècle (Introduction to 20th century art course): one hour, one Thursday a month. Talk on post-war visual arts, March 04 Op art, April 01 Kinetic art, April 29 Pop art, May 20 New realism.
- Un dimanche au musée (Sundays at the museum): Talk & screening on March 7, April 4, May 2.
-La nuit des musées (Museum night), from 7pm to 12am, May 15.
-Ateliers du mercredi (Wednesday workshops), from 2pm to 4pm, during the school holidays: modern and contemporary art for children aged 4 and their parents.
